Cody Middlebrook is a transportation safety consultant and subject matter expert in FMCSA compliance, fleet risk management, and driver qualification standards. With firsthand experience in both motor carrier operations and civil litigation involving commercial motor vehicles, Cody offers a sharp, practical understanding of how and why safety systems break down and how to correct them. He holds a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a hazmat endorsement and is certified by NATMI as both a Certified Director of Safety (CDS) and Certified Driver Trainer (CDT).

Cody has conducted numerous DOT compliance audits, post-crash investigations, and mock FMCSA inspections, helping motor carriers identify and resolve systemic safety failures before they result in violations, preventable accidents, or insurance claims. He specializes in 49 CFR compliance, with particular focus on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), including Parts 383 (CDL Standards), 391 (Driver Qualification), 395 (Hours of Service), and 396 (Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance).
