As of February 7, 2022, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires all new commercial driver applicants to complete Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) through a registered training provider. Who Needs ELDT?
You are required to complete ELDT if you are:
Applying for your first Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Upgrading from a Class B to a Class A CDL

Training Records and Certification
